Air Fuel Ratio For Naturally Asperated Apex

Today, I learned that my stock Apex, can out pull my buddies stock 07 F1000 from a 50 mph roll on to well over a 100mph. I looked down and I was doing 115mph on the DM and I let off because for one, I was on a groomed trail and two I just kept pulling on him.

hey rtx meirda.....how are you reading the air/fuel mixture ?im curious because i would like to try similar test that you did,let me know,if the reading went up to 12.6 from 12.1,the air holes are really showing a difference,the holes actually leaned the mixture aout 1/2 a point,thats quite a bit,the efi adjust wot by the air box air temp so at -8c that would be about 16f,i would like to try it at a few different temps just to see if it actually makes a big adjustment to compensate for temp changes

I installed the same wideband o2 sensor as 87GTNOS. NGK makes the unit.

I don't think temperature is doing much to the mixture.....but i will know for sure later.

12.1 is a richer mixture than 12.6. I would like to try a ram air lid as well just to see.

for my own reference. Don't have a O2 sensor installed or access to a dyno locally, but might hook my Apex up to the exhaust anylizer later today.

Here is my one handed A/F gauge video....it's really not that clear and doesn't really give you the 'jist' of it all. Holding on to the sled with one hand you can't hold the throttle steady!!
