Here's my 2010 Nytro mtx 162 build. MPI says it takes up to 12 hour to install. i started the 1st of January and just finshed today. just working on it a few hours after work. i also did alot of other changes that was not in MPI instasll instuction that you will see in the pics. also put on a new ascent track, changed gears, put in a clutch kit, prologger dual temp, and removed the foam from the panels, also got DDMtuning H.I.D 1200k headlights.

on the prologger i got the bottom mount from mpi and then mounted it to the top and bent the taps alittle untill the angle was perfect for me standing up.

wired in the temp senders for the prologger. and for the gems. i cut a hole in the plastic behind the factory gauge pod. i got my slef a windshield bag and i stuff the gems in there and zip it tight on the wires. just have to remeber to pull out the gems before removed the hood. the egine ice is a high performance coolant. its $25 for 1/2 gallon jugs that are already premixed 50/50. on the back of the bottle it says it can cool up to 50 degrees better than standard coolant. figured i give it a try. that mosnster 4 stroke needs all the cooling it can get. :die

got the pulleys on and loctited. and for the foam. that was a pain in the arse. i treid very thing from gas to alacohol to actone. nothing work well. best thing that i have found it take a elctric heat gun and slowly heat up the foam as ut pull it off. it makes it alot easier than terying to pluck it off. this does not take the glue off but makes the next step easier. not i have found that CRC lectra motive. ( its like brake clean but for elctrical parts) you can buy from any napa store part number crc091313. now take the lectra motive and spray it on the glue be carful not to get any on the yamaha stickers or windshield. now only do small areas at a time. aloow it to soak for a minute or so. now find some kind of plastic scrapper and now it should come with the scrapper in one pass. then wipe down with a towel soaked in lectra motive. nice clean finish.

DO NOT USE BRAKE CLEAN IT WILL EAT THE PLASIC PANNELS... AND ONLY USE THE CRC LECTRA MOTIVE THE OTHER BRANDS ARE NOT THE SAME NO MADDER WHAT THE PART STORE TELLS YOU. TRUST ME I USE THIS CHEMICAL EVERY DAY I KNOW WHAT WORKS AND DOESNT.,

Got the engine oil tank on and filled up. finished up some final things and test ran with the track in the air. checked over every thing really good then put all the panels back on.

did a test run outside tonight. every thing is running good. theys nytros really turn in to mosnters when boosted. once i hit 1/2 throttle the skis were no longer on the snow. they were like in take off mode. :nos on the prologger im hitting about 7 lbs of boost at 3/4 throttle. i have to break in a new belt, track, and s/c belt so i was taking it easy. my fuel ratio is alittle lean in the yellow mode on the gems so now i have to play with some settings once it warms up outside. :4STroke:

Move your oil vent line thats on your oil tank or you will injest moisture and ruin your supercharger. We lost a few due to this and MPI is yet to change their directions even though they know the problem. The nytros collect alot of snow in the front and when the supecharger oil cools down it pulls vacuum and if there is any snow or moisture in the immediate area it will get in the resevoir and contaminate your oil and lead to issues down the road.

What i recommend is putting the end of the vent line in a catch bottle where moisture cant get into or drill the subframe next to the tank and route it downward and seal the whole, the second working the best in my mind and have had zero issues since.

Other than that looks good, have fun and enjoy the new toy!
