Need some clutch setups from you alaskans. Heading to Juneau and want to set my clutch up now since theres no dealers in juneau to easily get parts. Most my riding will be done out of haines it seems like and im unsure the elevation. I'm guessing its 4000 or less. Right now im clutched for 10000+ Not sure if just adding rivets to my weights are going to get me where i need to be. So if you ride low elevation post up some clutch setups please. Pretty much stock motor w/ nitrous and undertunnel exhaust. so no turbo setups. I'll worry about clutching for the nitrous. Thanks in advance.

I have 19/40 gearing with a 144x15x2.5
Primary- fully loaded stock weights, GWG spring, 16.5 rollers.
Secondary- pink spring @ 100*, sock helix
All sleds are going to run different. I've tried a lot of different combinations on the snow and this has worked best me.

Your gonna be alittle high on rpms. Tried that combo with a 162 and it will bump on the rev limiter even under full load all day. You want a minimum of a 19 top tooth and fully loaded weights. Our 162 we have a 20t top and loaded weights, stock track with the secondary pink at 100, gwg primary and it will average about 8850 to 8900 under load. With a Blue brown blue you might have a lower rpm but wont handle the loaded weights as well for backshifting.
Phil,
I don't have any Alaska advice but thanks for the Boss Noss installation advice. It works well so far. I'll know more as the season progresses. Also, thanks for all the clutching advice.
Good luck in Alaska.

Np Lou. the boss noss is a very good kit for sure. I have the 19 and 20T gear along with some clutch springs so ill just pack the weights full and play with some springs. And go to the 19 or 20 gearing.
