while breaking in my buddy's sidewinder he had alert 24 flash on the screen at 250miles., and the machine got lazy. He slowed down , shut the machine off and cycled the key. The alert went away and the sled started working noticeably better then before.
Can anyone relate? Thanks.

does he have an aftermarket muffler>?
That would be the speed sensor. Only thing that comes to mind is shifting from reverse to forward it may not have been fully engaged. Ecu uses the sensor on shift fork and speed sensor to tell which way its moving and the two should be in jive or a code appears.

Thanks. The thing is we where on a 100 mile section of our run and there was no reverse. Just great big trail.
