I ordered the RTX LE, if it's not right for me then I'll have an excuse for wanting next years model. The 129" track is still longer than any other track I have had and I don't think the wife would be happy if I was to buy another trailer.Time to start working on my snow dance moves.

The way I see it after trying to get a 137 to transfer is.....Buying a RTX you will never "miss" anything, the ride quality is so close its not noticeable, and the traction is similar too....But you WILL notice the better transfer on the RTX and less push and more agile cornering. 129" IMO is the perfect length for trail. Offtrail becomes a totally different story obviously.I ordered the RTX LE, if it's not right for me then I'll have an excuse for wanting next years model. There is LESS THEN 2 blocks of track on the ground difference, I think its something like 1 and 1/3 of a block less touching ground at any given time on 129 vs 137. Hardly enough to be a game changer in most areas.

Dan I will say now that my 137 is transferring,it still sticks very very good in the corners, the thing flat out rails, thru every turn,no matter how sharp they are,but it still wont just snap the skis up at will, from a full stop dig,now it transfers hard enough to lift skis 2-4" and hold them into the 80's,but drop the throttle for a corner, and it just stays planted hard, but I do have 5.7 pilots with 7.5 shapers on it.

Same with me. Two weeks ago put my 500 dollars down on an 18 Sidewinder RTX LE 50th anniversary 129. Have an Apex now, and she's only 121, so I figured the 129 would be long enough for me(I'm not a big long track fan). And from what I'm reading here, the 129 seems to be transferring the weight better. I'm happy I went with the 129. And my trailer is only 10ft too...didn't want to be fiddling around with trying to get the longer track sled in. Can't wait for next winter!! Hope She's(the Red/White 50th) as beautiful in person as it is in pictures?? And hope it lives up to the billing?? Excited for next year for sure!
