How do I tie in the my stock dual exhaust with the Alpine ( powderlites ) front mount turbo without letting the gas tank get to warm? Also, anyone with this turbo, having the cold air intake come up and out through the dash, what have you done other than mount the stock gauge on the handle bars?

All the Alpine kits on the apex I have see, is they just dump in front of the track. If your good with exhaust pipe, you will have make a 1 into 2 apater to hook up with the stock exhaust. As you say, most of mountain riders put the gauges on the bars. I saw on an apex with the air filter behind the gauge still on the hood. They cut the dash up to get the filter out. You will just have find the right coolant hose off a car/truck with the right bends to get from the turbo up the hood. On mine I use a hose of an Int Semi, works good, takes the heat, and cost $17 bucks.

Red,
How much louder is this kit, really? This 260hp turbo is for my trail sled so I don't want to make to much noise.lol

I have no know idea what trail riding is really like. We ride about 10 to 15 miles to get into the alpine/mountains. And can stand any of it, but when out in the hills in the powder, you can only hear the whistle of the turbo. But at idle with no snow, I think they sound like #$%&*. I used a hindle muffler off a bike to make it have a different sound. I heard that the people that make your kit, have a muffler. We don't ride around where people live, but you might. I like having a muffler.

perhaps a guy could make some kind of conecting pipe, ceramic coat and heat wrap it so it wont get the gas tank to hot. I just like the dual exhaust, so much infact, that if this turns out to be to much work, I may just go with a stage II S/C. That hp is close on pump fuel and may have less headaches on the install. Plus I wont have to cut up my dash, either. Man, all these decisions really suck.lol
