I am having some trouble getting the dyno sheet scanned and posted so I will just tell you what the end results where, and once I figure out my scanner tonight or tomorrow I will post the actual sheet.
For Jeff Simons sake, and to avoid confusion These numbers where produced at this dyno, on this day, Other numbers may be different and other dynos may bring different numbers as well. Also We (jim@dynotech and Me) decided to keep the fuel settings very rich for saftey sake until I can get it on snow and see what real world tuning brings. From what I learned from Jim and saw there is easily 10 or more Horsepower to be found at each boost level. I just choose to keep it safe for now.
Here is the results and I will get the dyno sheet figured out later to get them up as well
Boost HP a/f
9 lbs 233 9/1
10lbs 241 10/1
12 lbs 253 10/1
13.5 lbs 271 10/1
Then there was one run we did that was around 15 lbs or 16 and it went over 280 hp but we ended that because it was back firing due to to much fuel.
I also was having issues with the electronic boost controller and couldn't get it to hold boost consistinly.
Again I just want to make sure everybody understands I tuned it for safety, trail ride ability, and for questionable New York fuel. I feel that if I bring the A/F ratio up to 12 to 1 there is alot of power to be found. Jeffs claims on HorsePower for this kit are true and everything he and Allen Ulmer told me about this kit did what they said it would do. Once I get more time and more knowledge on this sled and fuel controller I will bring the A/F ration Up and really let her open up.
Thank you Jim @ dynotech for your insight and keeping me from cranking the boost till she popped.
Thank you Allen Ulmer for calling me a thousand times during the session.
Thank You Jeff Simons for making a kit that is easy to install and I will be calling again once it is on the snow to dial her in more.
