It is time to replace my boots after 5 seasons and I was wondering if anyone has had good or bad experience with the Altimate Classic Boot?

Those boots are excellent...I have had a pair for 4 seasons and they are still in great shape..like new..feet will never get cold. About the only thing I can say negative about them is they are a bit bulky at the top but once its tucked in it isnt a problem.

Altimate make an outstanding boot for winter. I do not have a pair of snowmobile boots but a pair of work boots and they are extremely warm. Bought my wife a pair of snowmobile boots last christmas and they keep her feet warm. She has not been able to find a pair that can do that so she is very happy with them. I have a pair of Sorels and am happy with them but when they wear out I will definately buy a pair of Altimate.
I got a set of altimates & I find if I stand around a lot my feet get very cold. This does not happen with my sorels.

I have had mine for 4 years and they are the warmest boots that I have ever had. They are still like new and if I had a choice of any boot I want, I'd still take the Altimate :!:

If they are the new snowboard style be careful as unless you ride with your feet behind you they are uncomfortable IMHO. They are designed for you to be on your toes and if you put your feet in the footweels you're on the heels. This is caused by the forward lean designed into the boot.

:x I just returned a pair of "Klim Velocity Boots", IMHO, they are the must UNCOMFORTABLE boot on this planet. :x . For years I had a lacrosse Snow King; which IMHO, are the most comfortable boot to ride in. I decided to try something different this year; what a mistake. With the K V B you can not ride with your feet behind you or extended in front of you with your feet tucked underneth. I put 300 miles on this past weekend and it was the worst 300 I have ever lived. I managed to leave my Lacrosse at home so I had to suffer all day Saturday and Sunday riding with my knees at 90 degrees to my thigh, it sucked. Yes, the lacrosse are on the heavy side and slightly bulky, but you are riding with them, your not walking around in them. Plus my feet got cold this weekend in the K V B and it was only 30 degees out, I even had a extra pair of socks on; which I never have to wear with the Lacrosse. Just my $.02
