TY 4 Stroke Junkie
I think that some oil has made it past the IFP O-Ring on my GYTR piggyback clicker shock.
With the shock off of the machine I can shake it and hear some oil splashing around inside the reservoir. I don't believe the nitrogen charge has leaked out of the shock body. When I compress the shock it rebounds on its own and both clickers still change the damping characteristics as they should. It is my understanding that the space beneath the IFP in the reservoir should be free of oil.
If what I have described above has occured, am I doiing damage to my shock by using it for another season before a rebuild?
There are some other things that I am wanting to do do to my machine during the offseason and nothing comes cheap with these sleds.
Thanks for your thoughts.
