ddm 35 watt h4 hid duall kt on 2006 apex
ok im drawng 7.5 amp then it slowly goes down to 7.0 amp
this is ddm 35 w kit on 2006 apex
i get 7.0 amp and its 13.98 volts + need to check draw at high low connecton
what is the stock draw on each bulb
they sure are bright
im afraid they may draw too much for the stator

Power = Voltage * Current
So, for the HIDs:
35W = 12V * X
X = 2.9
For stock:
55w = 12V * X
X = 4.6
7a seems nearly double what they are supposed to draw?

2 light bulbs, not 1 on an Apex.
2 X 35 = 70 watts output. Approx 6 amps.
Electricity is not usually 100% efficient, hence 84 watts input for 70 watts output. [7 ampsX 12 volts]
The extra draw at first is used to fire/start the HID's.
Seems about right to me.
You are using less power than stock which would be about 10 amps to run 2 55 watt bulbs. I would say you have no issues. Enjoy.

you mean 35 watt kits, and they are not drawing like they are 55 watt, they are drawing within the range that they should be. Stock would be 9-10 amps
They are fine! Take it from me, you'll never be able to go back to stock headlights again after riding with these.
