If you really think about it: Why would Yamaha need to turbo their sleds?
Afterall, Cat had to do it and it's still heavier and slower than a non-turboed RX or RS and about the same cost too.
Unless they were working on a twin 4-stroke perhaps?

The New Sled is So Good They Had to Save a Turbo for Later
They Would not have That much to Improv with the Next year if They Gave Turbo & EFI this year Also it would Screw the After Market guys even worse that the new sled has already
Most of the Improvments I would Want are there exept Loosing the Chain case Completly And a Factory Reverse Standard
Perhaps a Choice of Track lenght I Like the 16 inch wide but 151 or 159 I would also work for me Would not Complain with 162
This looks like A FANTASTIC new Sled to me EVEN Stock
