I did a search but couldn't find what I was looking for. Need to know what side of the red line the transfer rod nut is supposed to be on for max transfer. I am setting up my new XTX & want the maximum transfer because I only weigh 170lbs. This is how I adjusted & would like to know if it is right or wrong. Thank you

According to the manual the adjustment range lines are below the red painted mark. This doesn't seem to make sense because wouldn't that mean the more the nut is lowered, the more transfer there would be?

Your not supposed to be in the red. Just like bookkeeping, red is bad.

Apparantly having the lower nut on top of the red line is the minimum transfer so I turned it down as far as it will go but it doesn't even come close to getting to the red line!. The red line I am guessing would be probably in the middle of the bottom nut. Why exactly is the red line there if the nut stops before you even get to it?

Because the bottom nut should not go any higher than the red line or any lower than the bottom mark. Look at the adjustment drawing and follow the instructions. I shows right on the reawing the adjustment range. It couldn't be more straight forward.

That is my point. the lower nut can go to to the upper limit( low weight transfer) but it cannot go to the lower limit, (max transfer)! You say that the bottom nut shouldn't go past the red line but mine will not even go "TO" the red line!Because the bottom nut should not go any higher than the red line or any lower than the bottom mark. Look at the adjustment drawing and follow the instructions. I shows right on the reawing the adjustment range. It couldn't be more straight forward.
