Hi, I was wondering if anybody here had the Yamaha anti-bottoming kit installed. I am waiting in mine to come in and am wondering which hole I should install it in.

Thank you

When the suspension piece(forget the name) comes down after you hit a big bump, the bar stops at the rubber anti bottoming pieces and preavents it from hitting the track.

Yeah as he said, as the rear torsion springs move towards the slide rails as the suspension compresses. Once there is about 1/3 of the travel remaining, the spring hits these "rollers" and the folcrum moves resulting in a shorter lever. This makes the last third of suspension travel much stiffer.

I installed mine this morning and just took it for a test drive and It's a big difference. It was only a quick ride but it never bottomed once, where as it used to bottom alot. Well worth the 65 bucks, or if you want to, you could make you own out of rubber or plastic. The hole in the slide rail is already there. I read on HCS about a guy who made his own out of trimmed hockey pucks. I probably would have tried the same thing, but I ordered them a few hours before I read about it.

Awesome, and needed upgrade, for anyone who pushes their sled. Remember for those who are making these at home....Those are rollers, not stoppers. Yamaha makes a nice, hassle free kit.

Part # SMA-BUMPSTOPS

Feedback: Works great on the GT, night and day difference! Im 210, springs on H.
