Those of you who have installed the 9 cog Wahl anti ratchet drivers, I have a few questions:
Is there any trick to pressing the drivers onto the driveshaft?
Do they need to be lubricated to slide on, or sealed so they can't come loose?
I assume the steel collars stay on the driver and are pressed on as an assembly.
How much do the tips need to be trimmed to clear the suspension rails?
Appreciate all your advise.

It doesn't hit the rails, it hits the front of the W-arm. I think the ones that need to be trimmed need about 1/4 or 3/8 trim.

Pressing them on is easy if you have had experience w/ a press , you would never think they would go on by looking at them compared to the axle I had to second this before I read the Instructions , and they said for Yamaha they will measure just over 1 inch .Press all the old drivers off .....and install the 2 new drivers Make sure the arrows on the drivers point the same direction I used a tool used for pressing on bearings w/ the flat side to the new drivers. I got a sheet w/ mine telling me the distance from each end to put the new drivers. The steel collars stay on .
I used a slight amount of wd40 but don't know if it was necessary........Some people say to spin them on a lathe to ck for runout ,I did not do this , Just re-installed them and went. Worked perfectly . did not have to trim mine at all but these were smaller drivers for the mountain model. I got them from Mpi so they may have already have been trimmed.?

If you have access to a hydraulic log splitter, they work pretty good as a press.

I would definitely check them on a lathe for run-out, trim them at the same time. I think the spec was 3/16" but I don't think that was enough - go 1/4" minimum. One of the drivers I was shipped was so wobbly there was no way it was usable and had to be replaced.

Just finished up my second installation tonight on my other sled .........still didn't ck them on a lathe , however the w arm is so close in there on the warrior model I was able to ck them for runout against it .......No probs .........I wonder if the way they are supported and being sure to press them on perfectly straight is what is the difference between some wobbling and some not?
