I know this subject has come up before but I wanted to share what I found. I mixed up a batch of antifreeze with Water Wetter to help with heat transfer. I know 50/50 works best but I was a little concerned there could be a problem with only being protected to -34F. I mixed a batch to 54% which gives me protection to -45F. The surprise was checking what came in the sled. A 70% mixture with protection to -84F! A bit of overkill I'm thinking. I bet it runs cooler next year. Tim
I just bought an 07 Attack and will do the same. But some of the guys here have found even with diluteing to 60/40 they have still overheated.
I ordered a rear heat exchanger anyway and will be putting it in as well.
I installed the rear heat exchanger and used Water Wetter just to be sure. Problem solved. The rear heat exchanger is the way to go. Cheap insurance when you consider the alternatives.
