Just curious if anybody is having any heat issues or track failure with dumping the exhaust right out of the Turbo with just the down pipe straight in the tunnel on top of the track . I dont want to put a pipe to the back or use an exhaust .

Be aware, your question is general, which way to you plan to point the pipe.
Track windage can act like a potato in the tail pipe.
You should run the tail pipe to the atmosphere, in a way where wind or track windage will not have a negative affect on exhaust back pressure.

OK, on the alpine style the exhaust dumps down in the direction of rotation of the track.
my question is has anyone with a Simons turbo setup dumped the exhaust out in the tunnell- this essentially is a pipe ending halfway under the tunnell pointing back?? Theory would suggest the track would push air and snow into the exhaust pipe, but is this really the case? Is anyone running them like that without problems?
