Any new problems with the grease zerks?

My rear bottom will not take any grease what-so-ever. 650 miles so there should be some room in there now. I'm calling my dealer tomarrow to see if they will order a new one or repair this so it will except grease. Just worried that it will destroy both peices, running it dry. The rest are fine, they all take grease nicely.

Mine the bottom rear will not take grease either 260 miles How could the boittom rear be different than all the rest?

Zerks at 250 miles

Attempted to grease the rear suspension at 250 miles and all but 3 fittings were leaking grease at the base of the fitting. Funny that when I got the sled home from the dealer with 0 miles and greased the suspension, didn't notice this problem.

Anyone with more miles on know if the problem actually goes away on it's own?

Could it be time for JB Weld?

Hope Yamaha is keeping track of the list of things to correct for '07.

I have about 1000 miles on and I can't get grease in the very top forward as well as the very bottom back. My dealer says nothing they can do about it. The only way to fix is take out the skid and spot weld the other side, repaint. I not sure we should be doing or paying for this? :o|

This is the one short coming that really pisses me off. I just came in from greasing mine with about 250 miles and I'm not too happy. Grease squirts everywhere but where it needs to go. On two of the shafts I can't get the grease to both ends :o|

Anybody notice that the zerks on the spindles work like they are suppose to..............

Asked my dealer yesterday and he says Yamaha told him "everything was fine" claims they say it doesn't need grease anyway. LOL, ok I said when the bushings and shafts go I'll be back. Pretty lame. I don't mind the LB weld fix, but the 1 that won't take grease at all is wrong.

Mine too - 1000 miles and bottom rear spindle just squirts out the side. Also one on the front top spindle can't take any grease. Can't Yamaha get a simple thing like grease fitting right?

The lower rear zerk fitting on my Apex ER was also leaking. I used JB Weld quick set and 5 hours later was able to apply grease. Easy fix.
