Has anyone tried implementing the Dual Purpose Rail found on the Polaris Switchback on their Venture?
I've driven the Switchback and you get a much tighter turning radius and much less push in the corners with the same 144" track. They do this by angling the slide rail up 2.8 degrees from the rear bottoming stop to end of the rail at the back. So on hardpack the contact area of the track is reduced but you don't loose the long track floatation. Since I ride my sled only solo I would like to get these same advantages on my Venture.
Since I'm not a suspension expert though, I'm not sure how the Venture suspension action would be affected due to the differences in coupling. The Switchback has a rear sissor that attaches to the rail at about the point the rail starts to bend upwards. The Venture though makes the connection through the transfer rods near the end of the rail.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

The 05 and up viper mtn are like that and they have the same parts as the vector so you could boldt the rails right on the proactive skid that 05 vector has.I was going to do this and stretch my vector out and just decided to go to a 136"
