Got the factory mountain skis on and took my whole bergstrom setup from the factory skis and put them on the mountain skis without any issues. I will ask again

my guess would be suck the limiters up? maybe try that but no gurantees
Does this transfer a lot of weight to the front of the sled and make the stearing harder. What will that do to the rear suspension? Tryin' to learn as much as I can about the rear suspension and the adjustments I can make and what specific effects the changes will make on the rear suspension as well as the global handling of the sled. Sorry for the ignorance. Really appreciate the input!!!

yes sucking up the straps will make the steering a little heavier, in other words it will bite more suckin in the straps, i wouldnt imagine this would be good for powder because it would push the skis under and it would start plowing through the sno and not plane out on top so i think im gonna go for max transfer, plus i like to wheelie every now and then so its like killing two birds with one stone for me

Pulling the limiter straps to the shorest possible will give the skid a better approach angle to the snow and get you on top of it better rather than trenching.
You can take a look at it sitting on your trailer or floor, having the straps out loose the rail tips drop down pushing the track to a sharp angle, pull those straps up tight and the tips are now up out of the way giving the track a long slope.
Climbs out of the snow no problem. But does give increased steering.

That's true but he's from Hew York there's no mtn riding there. For some ocasional off trail there the limiter straps are fine your not going to do much trenching it will make the sled more fun to drive. That's how I had my vector set up but when I would take it to the mtn's I would pull the limiter strap tigher.Just put wider ski's on so you can jump the drifts rather than plow throught them. When i first bough my vector I was dissapointed in the deep snow because the front end was like a pizza cutter until I put wider ski's on.The stock ski's aren't adequate enough for the 4 stroke weight for deep snow riding.
