I blew mine this weekend. Both shocks are done, finito. Is this a common problem? Haven't heard much of it yet. Don't understand why they would blow. I a pretty agressive bumpy-trail rider, but I've had lots of sled in the past, and never blown a single shock, I've had them in for re-calibrating before, but never blown them, specially not like this...

Like blown the seals out- oil everywhere? On both skis at the same time? Maybe too much oil in there.... call dealer and yami!

Hey it's good to hear it's not just me breaking these things. My shocks are on order, supposed to be in at the end of the week. they were completely destroyed according to the mechanic. Asked if they were just rebuilding them and he said there was nothing to rebuild. It seems funny that I have launched other sleds farfarther then this thing and never broke shocks. My Foxes always stood up, change oil and recharge them once a year and they were good to go.

Sorry, this is not the front shocks. this is the shocks in the suspension, sorry for not clearing that up. Will take the shocks to my dealer this weeky , just wanted to know if anybody had experienced this before me... :o|

Sorry OBR I'm the one who didn't clear that up. My shocks that are on order are the ones for the rear suspension. My fronts seem to be holding up alright, put not the back ones.

no broken linkages as far as I know, just blown the shocks, it was a REAL hassle to get it back from the cabin to the parking lot. 30 minutes of jumping up and down.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one yet. Just strange I didn't blow them up on any of the other trails sleds I'va had. The mountain sleds didn't get ridden that hard in the bumps, but at least the MXZ did... Hope this works out real fast...orelse I have to ride a Poo 750 touring rest of the season... LOL

I've also broken the linkage that connects the front and rear shock. By the way it shouldn't matter but I weigh 210lbs fully geared up. My dealer said I would have my shock by the end of the week, they gave me and apex to ride last weekend.

Hi, Blew mine got it back home and it had about 4 inch of sag then when you push down it wont spring back up. Is the dealer taking care of this?my dealer took care of the spindle I bent so I am printing this out and showing him to see if they are going to take care of this. only 486 miles on it.

looks like the rear clicker on my sons fx is done. No big jumps just rough groomed trails. Did any one get it covered under warranty? Only 1000 mles on this machine RX-1 4000 no issues.

yeah i broke my rear suspension linkage on my fx after 700 miles. I was the second person that week to have that same issue at the dealership. got the sled back after a week.

This has happened to me twice already..... the first time at 485 miles and the sled wasn't even ridable. The second time at 700 miles. This time it wasn't as bad as the first, but I'm not happy so far. I have spent more time returning the sled and picking it up after repairs from the dealership that actual riding time it seems. I think it was built on a Friday afternoon or Monday morning!! For me, it was the rear linkage that has failed twice. Dealer told me last week that there is an "updated" part. Its the rear pivot at where the shocks mount that looks like a half moon shape with holes in it.
