Ya, then you just can't steer after, but no darting. DOO had those on there sleds back in the 90's.

They are made for the old metal skis, Worked great. Never tried them on Plastic.

Anyway, just ordered a pair of C&A pro RZ (razor).... That should kick butt...

They work. Polaris used them on their plastic skis for a while. They were made out of steel, and the carbides fit right into them. I found that they contributed to darting. It put to much carbide ahead of the spindle center. I switched to Doolys and rechecked my TOE-OUT. Problems solved. Another benifit of the doolys is if you loose a carbide instert on a log trip., you may still be able to continue with the carbide piecec left on that runner. I was eagle river and lost the carbide on my stock bar. I spent hours looking for a replacement and getting back on the trail. I also carry a spare set on long mult-day trips.
