Anyone buy a sled lift by Ohio collision?

I called Kurt today. Nice guy but he makes them on the side and won't be making them again till late November. What would be a good lift for a Apex XTX?

Call EZMove about the XTX. My LTX and Attack work fine on it. They have the Long Track Version that works well with these. I've used it alot and have no complaints. Rolls right under the Apex's and lifts it 3 ft or so into the air. Stable up there. I can run the track on it no problem and get at everything.
They were great on the phone too.

I would wait for the aluminum one if you can. Im pretty sure most will get the job done though.

Sorry but I got to thinking. Kurts lift is the most expensive, he is a one man band, what happens if I buy one and have a problem next may? Wait till Nov? I think i'm going another direction

spend the money and buy a good quality brand name lift.

i bought a lift from korkeys and it was made in china by redtail international.
i had my apex up on it and the jack assembly broke causing the lift to fall and almost break my arm. i contacted korkys, no response.
i contacted redtail international, no response.
if i had been under the lift i would have been severely hurt so i contacted the cpsc
bottom line here is you get what you pay for

"I have a brand new Aluminum snowmobile lift . It is built out of 1 1/2 inch square aluminum 1/8 inch wall . It has a 5000 # bulldog jack not a cheap jack , the bolts are 7/16 grade 5 . rubber bumpers are adjustable so your sled will set level .It has 6 castrer wheels . rolls very easy on concrete . It will come with a hand crank and a drill adaptor. This is a high quality stand made in the USA will never rust doesnt need paint and it looks good . I will ship to most of the USA for $35.00 or I travel to several places in wis, and minnesota maybe I can help with delivery.I have been building theses for a few years now mostly to snowcross racers , it is a proven design durable and looks good. any questions call Kurt at 715-661-0016.

This is all aluminum~very well built and reasonable. Give Kurt a call.

Any idea if he ships to Canada?

I am really wanting a lift now and I like the Ohio collision ones but shipping from the states (they use UPS) is absolutely crazy!

Anyone use a Princess Auto or Royal Distributing lift?

I use a Mar-Lift. It holds my ATV and my sled. It uses a boat winch to raise and lower.

I bought a lift from OHIO Chassis and would never buy from him again. The lift looks like it is built well but it took 2.5 months for him to ship it.
I emailed and called about a dozen times and got every excuse under the sun. He even told me it shipped on 2 or 3 occasions and obviusly never did.
Finally after threatening to turn him in as fraud to Ebay and Paypal I got my lift.

I have never bashed a dealer and don't feel like I am right now. I am just stating the facts as they are.
