Just wondering what kind of job this is. It's under Tech Tips in the 2004 Technical Update Manual. It states that it's possible for coolant to leak from the o-rings between the coolant pipe and the carb. body.

Has anyone changed these and is it a pain in the arse? I had the carbs off tonight to change jets, but I have never seperated them from each other. It looks as if they must be seperated inorder to change these. Also, another Tech Tip specifies that care must be taken so as not to break the T-fitting for the fuel lines going to the carbs. If I must seperate the carbs., are the fuel lines easy to seperate from those fragile T-fittings?

Any advice?

Thanks,
Jon

Yeah, I've done it. You just gotta make sure everything is lined up before you squeeze them back together. If you do it, try to seperate them as little as possible to get the tubes out, there are little springs in the throttle linkage under the screws that you sync the carbs with, if the carbs seperate far enough they pop out and are a pain to get back in place.

Its not bad, just take your time as always. ;)!
