anyone had their seat rip??? where can I get a seat cover?

my seat ripped down both sides at the back with only 1000 miles on the sled. Of course my warranty is up so Im on my own as far as yamaha is conserned. anyone had this happen. know where I can get another seat cover at a reasonable price?? thanks!!

I assume you have an 03...They changed the covers a little and replaced a lot of 03 covers...Yamaha know there is a problem purhaps if you speak to the right people at Yamaha you may get a new cover.

Just for future references NAPA makes a vilyl repair kit that works great. I had a small 1in tri. rip in the side of my seat an you cant tell after the repair.

I have a blue Rx seat complete with the exception of the light harness 100$ shipped. The seat has 2-300 miles on it.

actually its an 05. I really dont want to replace the entire seat, especially since I have heard that the 03 and 04 seats were shorter and not as comfortable. My sled is the 05 limited edition all satin black.

I have the exact same issue. Right at the very back of the seat on the sides there is two small tears.... Is this a recall issue? One post said to talk to Yammy, do you mean corporate in Calf or something else?
