I lost an outside rear idler wheel last week, of course everything was closed for the holidays and when I did get ahold of my local yamaha stealer they wanted $90 for the wheel... Thats right $90+tax for a 7inch plastic wheel with an inferior bearing. So I found the same wheel in black from parts unlimited for $20+tax. Much better. I bought one put it on and rode about 165 miles and lost the other stock wheel. I will get a matching black wheel this week but I wanna know if there is something Im doing to cause the wheels to come off?? the track is a little tight (turbo) but not overly tight. Is there something that will cause the bearings to go bad Both wheels came apart at the bearing. The sled has 3200 miles on it...
Or is it just time for new wheels??
