Anyone not resisting the urge and getting out on the trails even though the trails are not being groomed totally in the UP?
Some trails aren't open yet, particularly ones that are crossing private land. A lot of those don't open until after Deer Muzzleloader season.

not worth the trip UP. minimal snow on the trails. most not even open yet.I dont think the groomers are running yet either. (not enough snow)

There is no snow to ride on anywheare except twin lakes and even there it not much. This is verry depresing soo far!!!!

how was the ride? where did you go and how much snow would you say they have?

We ride in the keewenaw by Twin Lakes. They probably had afoot and a half to 2 foot off trail. Got pretty thin as we went south. They where out grooming though.

Yes it south of Houghton and they where grooming. Sounds like it was thin to the north of their towards copper harbor. There was a lot of sleds in the area.

Heading up to the Hurley/Ironwood area end of next week.. Hoping it doesn't warm up to much this week and they get more snow.

I was going to head up to hurley next weekend too, but i think Im going to pass until the following. Mid 30's all week they are saying.....

No snow in the forcest for the next 10 days. By the end of the week its supposed to rain and mid 40s. Not looking good 4 this year..

There is snow forecasted for the end of the week but it is raining there today. It's only Dec 12, think you can back away from the ledge.
