Anyone Snow Checked a New Apex?

I'm still sitting on the fence. Currently on an 08 LTX and other than the usual maintenance issues, it's been bulletproof for almost 9,000 miles. Been looking hard at the 15 X-TX but am still undecided if it's worth the $ to go newer.

If you have made your mind up or not is one thing but seriously, what is out there to interest me other than another Apex?
Is there anything else you would consider? I certainly don't want to spend 15grand on a viper that only does 95mph.
The Apex is just so....damn good!

Buy one you will not be sorry. I have put 10,000 miles on my 2011 and its hands down better than my last 2 Yamahas (03 rx-1 15,000 miles, 06 apex 17,000 ) I have done nothing but put gas in it and change the oil. Every time I ride it I like it better.

We'll I think this thread has pretty much answered one question: Will there be a 2016 Apex? Not likely........No snow checked 2015 Apex's pretty much says it all.

I'm sure some have snow checked new ones, but lots probably feel the way I do, why buy a new one for $14K+ when you can get a used 2011 for like $7k. I'd like to upgrade my 06 GT to a newer one with P.S. when I find the right one!! Whether or not the apex will be discontinued, well theres lots of opinions out there! Snow-checked or not they will sell!! There's just too many guys on them that dont want anything else but the big 4-hole!

That is what I did with my last two sled purchases. I bought slighty used (less than 500 miles) for thousands less than new. I will be considering selling my 2011 and buying a few years newer for probably a couple g's more. I will not be riding a 2015 next season but maybe a new left over...

Yes just today i snowchecked my xtx

Yup,my cat/yamaha dealer gave me fair money for my turbo burnt down kitty,so i did jump on a 2015 xtx ape.
