I was just surfing the net and came across Schmidt Bros Motorsports Nytro Dual Exhuast, the video was cool and it sounded awesome. Any feedback from anybody on this product?
Here's the video I found:

I have his exhaust, clutch kit and cold air mod and I think it runs great. I can easily beat a stock XTX.
Tom is the cold air mod just the 9 vents in the lid or is there a fuel programmer too? Is the clutch kit Yamaha parts or who's kit did he start with? That exhuast sounds good on video. Thanks

Yes on the cold air kit... weights are stock with his rivets and bolts.. no fuel programmer.

I have there exhaust, sounds good, looks cool. I had to add weight to my drag n fly weights, cause the exhaust gained me a few hundred RPM, so it does make some power............Brian

I rode all of this past winter with the Schmidt Bros nytro dual exhaust. I could not be any happier. It's a great sounding exhaust ... not too loud and not too soft. I really love riding my sled with this exhaust. I also have their tunnel closer kit which prevents the ice build-up. I will be installing their stage 1 clutch kit over the summer.

I have their exaust, clutch kit, tunnel closing kit, shocks redone, wheel kit, all on a 2009 XTX. Everything is 1st class. They will help you with everything. Get the low engaging clutch kit. This is the ticket to the Nytro. The exaust is top notch, just the right sound. The wheel kit i put on this year and got about 1500 miles on it in realy bad conditions. The slides have shown little wear. At this pace they should last another 4000 or more miles. Everything they have sold me has made my machine a lot better.

What is the advantage of the low engaging clutch kit?

Total smoothness. It is silky smooth on the take off and actually pulls harder all the way through with more top end if they cut your helix.
Must be nice living that close too uofm...

I see you are running the cold air mod. If I remember correctly when Allen dyno'ed the Nytro any airbox mods he mad resulted in losses of power.

Well Jason, the kit thats on my sled as a whole works great...ask Nate, I handed it to him several times. Dyno means nothing to me other then a base line for performance changes. Seat of the pants is everything.... so why even post your opinion. Always has to have some sort of controversy tied to it, right?

No I posted because I thought you might have forgotten that when Allen went to Dyno tech, he abandoned the air boxmod. I clearly remember he was very disappointed because his stealth mod worked so well on the apex. I was trying to be your friend and remind you of that.
I don't care what you or anyone else runs on there sleds. I have nothing to gain by it and I wasn't trying to start a controversy I was trying to help a friend.
