Anyone try the ohlins rear shock on the MTX

Ya, in your case i'd go with the 08 for sure. But me being a Yamaha Dealer myself, the price works out to being about $100 bucks cheaper for an 08 with the Ohlins versus a stock 09 MTX. Any thoughts which would be a better route. I basically want to know which is going to be a better rear skid, the 08 with ohlins or a stock 09?

The only difference in the '08 and '09 skids is the shocks and the Ohlins will be better than the '09 shocks.

thank you CROW. I hadn't had a chance to put an 08 and 09 MTX side by side to see any differences. I was under the understanding that there was more changes than just rear than just shocks, but if thats all it is thats good. Thanks.
