So i got a set of precision skis that came on my sled. they need new carbides so before i go and spend 100 bucks on 4 carbide wear bars I am considering trying the new DS skis. they have the large ceneter keel like a C&A xtx but lack the outside edge dropdowns. I guess many ppl say use the 6.9's for better float and good performance but if these work good and dont push in corners I can get a nearly new set w/ carbides for a great deal. The precisions work great and steering effort is easy even with light front skid shock preload. Zero darting and are great when going moderate speeds on the trails. only problem is they push when cornering when going very slow. maybe from no carbide left or just not enough front pressure.
either way looking for what you guys have tried! i got a 09 xtx btw w/ the stock ripsaw.
