Does it scuff or mar the paint surface of the tank like the RX-1 tank bag did?
Does it fit well and stay secure?
Thanks

I use one on my Attak and it seems to be fine so far, I had the same concerns as you. The underside is a type of felt material that seems to be doing the job, I will have to say that my tank cover already had a couple of small scuffs on each side from my knee's previously but it does not "appear" to be getting any worse.
It fits nice, In fact I leave the lower portion on my sled all the time, and only use the bag when needed. I have not carried ALLOT of wieght in it, but when I have there is no apparent movement.

I looked at that tank bag for my Attak. Didn't like the design, it covers up the gas cap and you'd have to move it when ever you fuel up. I think it would wear on the gas tank finish as well.

The lower cover stays in place and wraps around the tank opening, the top bag itself is just attached with velcro on either side of the steering post. You simply grab both sides and peel it back out of the way to fuel up, its actually very simple and not a hassle at all.
As far as tank wear? yeah I suppose anytime you are laying on the paint things happen, but the lower portion does fit very snug when secured.

I have have one on my attak got about 3000 miles with it on and no scuffing of the paint, it is very secure and does not move around. I packed it full for some saddle bag trips and no problems.

no problems with mine either. Works great to store the gauntlets, hat, maps, camera, compass, spare parts. Fliping the top bag out of the way to fuel up isn't a problem at all. Over all i'd say it is a good design for a rider forward sled.

I won one on here in the Treasure Hunt, thanks Mr. Sled. I had some reservations about scratching but put on 1450 miles on a 6 day trip to Ontario with the bag on and didn't do any harm at all. Bottom part fits very secure and with the top part installed holds quite a bit of stuff. Does not get in the way at all for riding.

One more note that I like about it is I can take the main pouch with me inside a restuarant etc... It just unvelcros off. Easy to gas up and easy to hold your stuff when you leave the sled.. I stuff my gloves, gps, maps and take inside the house too.
3500 miles on mine and no scratches or problems.

What am I missing? I've had one for 3 seasons, and have never peeled back anything to fuel. Remove cap, and fill -up, then replace cap. Simple.
