I did the unthinkable and started to save money for mtn. tamer suspension (I´m usually a big spender, not saver). I´m going for 144" with Fox float shocks. I´m convinced it will outrun the mono suspension with ease.
I´m going to use a 1.75" Camoplast Back Country track with 9T extros. Any opinions on 20/40 gearing with this set up? My aim is to have the top speed in between 95-100 miles per hour, I got no need to go faster. Of course I will have to have the clutching done, but I´ll let Ulmer take care of it.
What I´m looking for is "rip my hands off" acceleration all the way to the top. Any suggestions to gearing etc. are welcome!
