Anyone ever find a way to modify the stock transfer rod, or fab up a new one that is easily adjustable? I really miss the ol SRX days where I could stop off the trail and go from railing to a wheelie machine in seconds. Mine is typically so covered in ice that it is impossible to adjust without a torch. Maybe that would be the case with anything you would build, but I thought I'd see if anyone has come up with something.

With all the aftermarket suppliers on the market I often wondered why no one has ever perfected an electric transfer rod controlled with a switch.I would buy on in a heart beat!!!

I would as well. I'd take that over the adjustable shock any day

What exactly is the main purpose of the transfer rod. Or does it have more than one. With the transfer rod out of sled, should it move in and out on its shaft?? Just currious.

It controls how high you want to lift the skies on acceleration !!!shawnj said:What exactly is the main purpose of the transfer rod. Or does it have more than one. With the transfer rod out of sled, should it move in and out on its shaft?? Just currious.

As the name implies, it controls the amount of transfer you skid allows
For me the top priority on an aftermarket transfer rod is to make it undestructable. When mine broke last year, it took out my track as well.
On the old Pro-Crapsion, Bender had a nice set of clicker control rods. That would be nice with a heaverier duty rod.
I have to wonder if with the location in the center of the track, if it would be possible to make one that dosn't ice up.
