Apex/Attack helix mod.

I see on the Vector forum some are adding a 5/16 washer under the helix to get higher top end. I was wondering if it would help the Apex/Attack also? Would this also help gas milage with out hurting low and mid range performance?

add the washer to stop coil spring in secondary from binding on the apex sleds,and at the same time you are allowing the secondary to open farther but you wont get more top end unless the fron clutch is made to close farther and the sled hp/conditions allow it to
