Anyone do this airbox mod? Are you happy with it?

Hidden from prying eyes
5-7 HP to the track from mid-range to top-end
A more powerful intake sound
Serviceable and reusable

5 to 7 track HP??? You better run a PC-5 with that if you are talking an 11 or newer as they are lean on top in stock form! I bet it would be slower with out more fuel.
An air box mod of any kind will be doing good to make 5-7 motor HP much less track HP.

don't bother with all those little bullets. they won't work like a real "ram air" system because they are under the cowling.
order yourself some slp pre filter 18"x18" from sled-parts. the stuffs waterproof and it'll cost you $50 shipped to your door. i used heavy duty velcro to hold it down. all you have to do is cut out the slits on the top of the airbox. i had my sled running 127.6mph in 3000" last yr. if you have any other questions just ask.

Look up john bohnn's ram air system. It'll work better. Then get an Ulmer tuned pc-v so you know you're getting enough fuel with that more air going through it.

it used to be slp-253. it was a 18"x18" piece of slp pre-filter.
