Apex/Attak seat foam pads??

I have my seat off my Apex as I wanted to check the exhaust connections and all/any fasteners and wanted to see if I could get the seat to fit more snug as it seemed loose.

As I searched and came across the following link, in the picture of the underside of the seat, it shows some black pads attached to the seat pan.

My seat does not have any of this padding. Does the underside of your seat look like this?

Checked Yamaha's website parts manual, but it doesn't show the underside of the seat.

How hot does the underside of the seat get? Would like to get some type of padding under the seat while I have it all apart now.

Looks just like my seat.

Funny how Yamaha has rubber pads riveted in place to the chassis where the fuel tank sits, but nothing under the seat?

As shown in the pics, the larger square shaded(gray)area clearly shows where the seat contacts the chassis (or heat shield).
