Apex bender turbo

I have a friend that had one and he didn't have any problems. he was running around 14lbs boost. He sold it to get a Nytro.

They are call Full Power Performance and they are still out of New York. I know his name is justin but I have no Idea how to get in touch with him. Jim @ dynotech has run some of his stuff and it puts up big numbers and looks like he knows his stuff with turbos.

Try giving Jim C. at DynoTech Research a call for their number.

justin number is 716 699 6299... full power performance.. he can help you with the Bender turbo...... and his set up is much better then Benders

Are you saying that the apex bender turbo is designed by Justin and is really a full performance turbo or that the full performance turbo is better than the apex bender kit? Sorry, I'm just confused. I'll call Justin today. Thanks

The word is Justin used to work for Bender, then Bender sold off the peformance part business to Dyno Port, and Sold the Turbo business and all it's parts to Justin who Started Full Power Performance.

I have no personal knowledge of these events, just Hearsay.

Ted.

Ted is correct! I also believe that as "Bender", Justin was not allowed to do it 100% his own way. Hence the comment on Justin being able to improve the old Bender setups now.
Also, as the years go by, they are all gaining more knowledge in the turbo department!!!

I have a full power performance turbo on an 07 APEX. Its flawless. 750 miles so far. I love the rear mount. I have no lag what so ever. Its the ultimate trail sled now. I'm still trying to figure out why everyone is running 12-15 lbs of boost. You'll #*$&@ your pants with 10lbs on a totally stock motor. I'm pulling the same clutching as some front mounts running more boost than me, do I have less leak down????

Speaking of clutching

I have a 162 x 2.5 x 16 camo extreme, run at 3-7000 feet, and plan on 8-12lb of boost. This is in the mountains. What clutching would you guys recommend?
