I think Cubby made the swap but you have to use all apex parts. They bolt right up.

Yeah, I figured that but I really don't want to go looking for more parts and the Apex black probably won't match the 03 RX-1 metallic black. I thought they looked pretty close in shape and I could either trim the exhaust cover or the plastic trim but just wondered if anyone had done the same. If not I'll just use the RX-1 light and sell the Apex parts.

I've done it before and it fits perfectly. If you choose to run rx-1 taillight on apex you will have to change plug of splice wires as the seat harnesses are different.

I know that either light will fit the seat but the Apex plastic trim doesn't mate with the RX-1 exhaust covers and it looks like a small trim job might make it work. If someone has done it that would boost my confidnece, otherwise I might scrap a good piece of Apex trim by cutting it and have to go back to the RX-1 light anyway.

Do a search on mbarclay. He customized a Warrior with Apex seat and tail light. He ha slots of pictures of everything.

Click the link in my sig you can see all my pictures every step of the way.... Any questions I should be able to help you out apex covers with RX end caps fit nicely the RX plastics will also work with a slight gap which is what I ended up doing on my warrior
