Apex Drag Race 2 Step ?

I have a 2006 apex fuel injected engine in a jr comp dragster. I am wanting to put on a 2 step for more consistent launch.

Any one have this on a sled for asphalt racing. I have looked at msd and dynatec. I have been told I may have to change ignition system.

I am looking for a way to do it with out that big money cost of new ignition.

I have an MSD launch master on my 2012 Apex. You could check but I think it would plug right in to an 06 as well. I have not run it on the snow yet but on the stand it works very nice. It can be activated off 12 volt or ground. I have a small momentary switch mounted just to the left of the high/low beam switch, or in your case you could use a micro switch on a brake pedal or tied in to a line lock.
