Want to set my sled up for drag racing should I put apex mtn drivers in. First will the axle fit right in and how big a difference would it be switching from 9 tooth to 7 tooth drivers?

The 7T drivers will lower your final drive ratio a ton. You can use them, but will need to gear up a fair bit to get back to the stock drive ratio, if that's what you after.

I run a 2006 apex on tar. I went to a 10t drive and it works great. Some of the big hp sleds run 11t

On my hp monster it has 8 or 9t extrovert drivers. 7t won't matter if theyou won't grab that track.

Did you run 9t at all for a baseline curious as to what or how much of a difference there was

I dropped teeth to for a larger track. It I could I would have kept the same amount of teeth. 2 inch track really pushes it even without protectors
