I noted someone else is having some hesitation issues. I'm talking from idle, a quick blip of the throttle and it falls flat then picks right up. Yeah, mine is doing this too. I believe it to be a plug or two fouling, or beginning to foul.. Incorrect plug gap can also cause this. If it does not go away after the first tank, pull and read your plugs. just an FYI if someones else has this happen.

It also helps to have a load on the motor, i.e., real riding conditions.

LB is right. Make sure your engine is FULLY warmed up not just after the light goes off. I have 85 miles on my Attak now and there is 0 hesitation when I smack the throttle down. You will find that after 1500 miles it will even run better. You guys who have'nt had a chance to ride the Apex or Attak are going to freak out if you get the chance. With good hook up the Attak will just about pull your hands off the grips That 136 ripsaw sure grabs hold. Studs? What for!

Up here in Quebec, a few guys have tested their ATTAK, and the hair on their arms are still erect....

the transfer is Incredible, skis up in the air with amazing throttle response and light feel to the handling..

In 4 days, i'm going to break in mine, will report back

For what it's worth, I found that it takes 10 to 15 mins. of running at idle at 32 degrees F, 0 degrees C, Barameter 28.86 indicated before the electric fan activates.

In those conditions, the "OK to Ride" light goes off very quickly, minute or less, but it takes a few minutes for the rpms to drop off to a true idle.

Once fully warm, mine has zero (0) hesitation as it lays a Ripsaw shaped patch of rubber on my new concrete driveway while driving up my tilt bed trailer.

Wife wants to know who or what is making those marks in the driveway, I told her to be happy it doesn't have studs yet.

Well mine definaltey has a stumble or "pop" when you spike the throttle at rpms below 5 or 6k. If you hit it not so quick, its fine. I rode it for hours and that did'nt go away.

You guys are making me nervous now. I have NOT ridden my RTX yet - but if I run it in the garage (let it warm up) and blip the throttle it definately stumbles. Hopefully it will be different when I run it for real. :exc:

I'm glad I'm not the only one. Seams to be a lean stumble when throttle valves are suddenly opened. The is a function of the accelerator circuit in the EFI. Or, Like I said before, could be a weak plug or two....possible incorrect gap. I'll wait till a bunch of others begin to notice this before further investigation of the problem.

My sled definitely does not stumble not matter what rate the throttle is squeezed. I was told that starting it between rides and revving it to hear it could cause fouling plugs.
