WHAT IS THE CORRECT SETTING FOR THE FRONT SPRINGS? I BELIEVE THERE IS A PREFERRED DISTANCE FRONT THE CENTERLINE OF THE UPPER SHOCK MOUNTING HOLE TO THE SPRING.

Personal preference.
Try it both ways firm and soft and see if you can find a setting for the conditions you ride on most so you are not adjusting all the time.Stiffer on the springs for less body roll. There is no 1 setting that fits all.
I was setting springs firmer as well as clickers.Do a search as many posted their setting last winter.
