I pick up my GT Friday. I'll sell it to you for $10,500 US. I'll even bring it through the border for you. It would have to be quebec.
Hey, for $500, I'll find another one, if not, I'll settle for an er.

Rotax your dealer is not to aggresive with the prices. I said last week
Hully gully was in the 13 900 area and looks like others have found that
out as well i spring ordered an rtx w reverse i was 12600 dealer kept the yami bucks
this was a rural dealer i had prices up to 14000 on the same deal from other dealers
Some dealers are aggressive and others are trying to get close to list prices on these sleds No doubt you can buy one cheaper in the U S
But if guys are saying they can save 3 and 4 thousand they need to look at other dealers From what i could see i could only save 1800 bucks by buying in the Us
Wasnt worth it to give up warranty and not support an ontario dealer
The way the dollar is today you can buy most products in the states for less then you pay here but if everyone did that we wouldnt have much of
a economy here

marathon mike said:The American dealers are not suppost to sell you a seld but call around as many are happy to sell you one. The issue you will have to live with if warranty work as Canadian dealers will not warranty it so you have to travel back to US dealer.
Just to bump in...
Last year a fellow here bought a rx Warrior from New Hampshire and brought it to Finland by himself. And now he´s got a new one and the warrior is at the local dealer´s. AND IT STILL HAS 1 YEAR LEFT ON THE WARRANTY. I asked about it, and since Yamaha has given two year warranty on it, that 1 year is still good here too. No bitching about it being bought in US. The dealer said, two years is two years. And he will cover it, since it is the policy from Yamaha.

Hully Gully will always hold the highest price, in my opinon looking for someone that doesn't know better or doesn't care. They still sell alot of sleds. When I lived in Ontario I gave them a try on new and used and could never get close. In southwestern Ontario I have had great experiences with Wyoming and Dashwood.
Now living in the states, I am facilitating a Ontario bound Apex GT purchase, that should be out the door for under 11 grand usf with tax, plus GST at the time of license and about $180 at the border for clearance. I think that is a couple grand savings. It is certainly legal. Many sleds were moving the other way a few years ago. So....where does this "gap" money go. It is not to the dealers. Yammie has certainly put them at quite a disavantage.
