APEX GT SKIS ???

The Stock skis are fine as long as you have never ridden an Apex with aftermarket skis. When I put the Slydog skis on my Apex I felt like I had stripped off 75lbs of weight. The steering was lighter and I no longer got stuck in deep snow and the area lakes and they handled great on the trail. They are not perfect either and may need to be shimmed or toe adjustment but they are a huge improvement over stock skis.

It is great if you have your stock skis setup properly and like them. What I think we are all trying to say is that if you have never ridden a sled with aftermarket skis you do not know what you are missing. This of course is my opinion so you can take it for what it is worth.

APEX GT SKIS

Thanks guys for the replys. The stock boards have their place but not the best all-around ski. After I get my shocks back from Hy-Gear I will play with preload and limiter strap adjustments. The Simmons have worked well but where would this sport be If we didn't like to tweaeeeeek?!. If anyone else responds..thanks again. Necessity is still the mother of invention and tunnel vision may get you there...but in boring fashion.
