Apex GT Windshield

I just installed the low Chrome/Black windshield on my 2006 Apex GT.
The stock one looked sharp, but didn't do much against any wind or snow.
So I put on the 12-1/2" "low" windshield.
Again, it looks nice, but still no real protection against wind and snow.
Has anyone tried the 14-1/4" "medium" windshield?
Thinking of the Chrome/Clear with strobes.
Will the additional 2" really make much difference???

just removed new med windshield
1-it didnt fit correctly
2- holes drilled wrong
3-right lower side bowed out 1 "

i guess i will send back and try 1 more
has anybody else had this windshield fit problem

Just installed a -22 windshiled over the weekend. Medium tinted with black strobes. Fit perfectly - no problems. Recently purchased however - I think Yamaha may have had problems with some of the early ones produced last yr.

Ive got the medium shield.. works great.. could still use more wind protection though..

I had no fitment problems.. mine worked perfectly
