I have an Attak and considering adding the Fox Floats as part of my weight reduction program. I've read mixed reviews, how do you guys like them?

I love mine. I was skeptical at first. They have a progresive resistance feel to them. Seem more stable and less nervous than my buddies set up on his Attack. Very easy to adjust. The further the travel the more it resists bottoming.

They are just fantastic. I absolutely love them. Best shocks I have ever had on a sled...BBY

No cpmplaints with mine and we've had some rough conditions here in Vt. They are aet at 65lbs. and this seems to be the best for me (170lbs with gear). Only thing I noticed was top of shock rub on beely pan. Simple cure, just flip the shocks. All in all very happy so far.

I love the Floats.. was concerned prior to delivery with all the stories of stiffness and stiction but one ride and I was sold on them, nothing Id previously read or heard about the floats held true except claims of the bottomless feel they provide.. Ive ridden an ER and an attack to compare to my RTX. The RTX feels more agile and lighter than the other 2 and you can get a plush ride that will almost never bottom. My buddy with the Attak got off my sled and said comparing the RTX and his Attak was like comparing a Maserati and a SUV...LOL whatever thats supposed to mean. I just felt the Attak felt noticeably heavier. I have zero regrets on my choice of sled.

Thats because u have never had good shocks.I tried them and switched all my sleds to the clickers instead.. Now there easy to adjust.. I guess I like being able to adjust the dial in seconds and have a full range of adjustment.. I did not consider the weight factor.
Terry you dog...lol. I had Ohlins on my Turbo sled and find the Floats much better for how I ride. Now to be fair about it, I would need to put clickers on my RTX then decide which one is better. All I know is the Floats are just perfect for my riding style...BBY
Good stuff guys, thanks for the feedback so far!
