Took my 09 Apex for the first ride and eve wtih the heat settings all the way up on both my hand and thumb warmers they really don't seem to get to hot compared to my old 98 Vmax ones. Is this normal and is there any way to make them warmer?

$250 seems a little high price. How hard is thie upgrade to install? Does it increase both the hand and thumb warmers?
Yamaheaters is well worth the price and is a "plug and play" system. Takes minutes to install.
I would get the Boost option as well as the Thumb Boost add on.
My old 97 Vmax could melt my gloves. My o2 Viper was a different story. Not sure what year it was but Yamaha changed the circuit for the warmers to run thru the CDI\ECU. Now under 3500rpm and when the brake is applied the power to the warmer circuit is basically turned off. Yamaheaters bypasses this configuration when set to full hot.
