I was wondering if you guys could post up pictures of your risers and handlebar setups and a quick explanation of what company, rise height, stock or aftermarket bar, and if any cable rerouting was needed or not. Plus any other information. thanks

I bought the 2" Rox riser for my 07 RTX and I did need the Apex MTN. cable for my application. I have the stock 07 bars. Rox makes a real nice riser, you'll see most on here use them.

I put an Apex Mountain riser on mine to keep the stock look. Gave about a 2.75 inch rise. I changed the throttle cable to a mountain cable last winter. Just right for me as Ii am only 5'10"

I have the Apex mountain riser along with a rox 2" riser. I first did the mountain riser and did not need the mountain throttle cable. I then put the 2" rox on and needed the mountain cable.

lake effects riser

Just checked out there website. Which one is the right one to use for the apex? the website shows two. one is the yamaha 2.5" pivot handlebar riser and the other is the yamaha apex 2.5" riser. the descriptions for both each say they are for the apex.

I went with the 2.5 pivot adapter and 6" risers (I think) - worked out to be a little taller than a Mtn riser. Will post pics soon

2" ROX w/stock cables...
