Hey guys...
I just picked up an 07 GT brand new and I posted in a thread last night that was about some 06 bars for sale on Ebay. The thread is gone. I don't know what happened to it, but I asked why everyone wanted the 06 bars?
I'm comingt off an 05 RX-1 and never had any issues with heat in the bars. Is there a hand grip issue I should be aware of? I remember hearing about it on the 06's but did not own one so never looked into it.
Too warm now to tell what the deal is with my 07 yet, but I would like to know what the deal is on this issue since I am brand new to the Apex.
Anything else I should be aware of going to the Apex?

Basically the hand warmers do not get warm enough to do anything when the temp is below 15 degrees F. I think it is because the hooks are not covered by your hands and they act like a heat exchanger. If you plan on doing any cold weather riding make sure you bring a pair of gauntlets or your hands will freeze off.....

Your hands will about start on fire if you turn them on high with ROCKERDANS mod. and it does not matter how cold!!!

I did pick up this Apex...zipped up north Tuesday with it and did 530 miles in a day and a half to get her broke in.
Love the sled so far...but it seemed like my grips were piping hot once...then the rest of the time they seemed luke warm at best. I had them on full blast the whole time and it was in the low 30's!
I think I am not going to like this "crappy handwarmer" deal.
I will look into the Mod link that you guys posted now. Have not read it yet, but I assume it's about putting the 06 bars on the 07.
Anyone pick up those 06 bars that were for sale on Ebay that someone mentioned?
I will take a pair if they did!

I was thinking of bidding on them....but it seems like they pop up here and there so I guess I can wait until I see another pair.
