This is more of a rant and rave merry christmas to me post, and its been awhile since last post.
I have a 07 apex rtx that i had a good time on the wolf river (little to much of a good time) and i rolled my sled, (saved my damages by using self as pad for sled to land on for first roll). Still wrecked headlight assembly, this fall i had a chance to by one from a member on here (lano) i didn't because wheeling up north for two weeks sounded more appealing. couple weeks ago found (so i thought) another headlight assembly on craigs list in Anoka Mn. from a guy sounded decent. 180$ to my door (not bad for the whole assembly as i made sure to ask a couple times on the phone). A week later i get this package in the mail looked sorta small for what i paid for.I open it up an heres a headlight with both the mounts broken (one compleatly missing hole about 2" around where mounts should go). This was my fn christmas gift to myself!!!!!!!!! I called the guy asked him about it aparently to him thats the whole assembly. Ok so maybe some lack of communication on both of our parts I'm willing to eat the 20$ shipping pluss ship it back get my 150 back. No he doesnt have the money and maybe i should try to sell it. Right after this i went in my bomb shelter cleaned guns counted explosives and, luck would have it the wife came home as I'm cleaning my favorite auto (my aim sucks i need it) go figure commen sense would say wait tell i go hunting next year by deer creek and if im really still p....d blow his vehicle up. According to the boss "be the better person and send him his headlight back" Live and learn some more school of hard luck.
The good to all this figured i was saving money on used parts so i got new torsion springs and front spring. what a world of difrence. And outa rage i called the dealer-ship orderd 578$ worth of parts on my card. Does she look pretty now boss doesn"t know about that yet. Rode her around property (sled not boss) and still here my cluncking noise WTf!!!!!!!!!!! got it figured out track tension to loose and missing lots of clips. The good to this is figured out i have Whaled racing cogs so today bought my clips and tomorrow my clip tool will get here (last year i used vice-grips trial and error).
I Can't Wait To Ride 52" in Hurley so far this year will be ridding it and around here also.
